• Dr. R. S. Chaggar

    Dr. R S. Chaggar is one of our founders. He is a third generation veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. He received his Bachelors in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Veterinary Sciences, Hisar (Harayana) in 1999. Growing up, Dr. Chaggar spent all his childhood holidays with his father assisting at what was at the time one of the first private veterinary clinics in Delhi, established in 1968. The original small animal family practice goes back half a century in New Delhi, India, brings on board, his vast experience. As he has volunteered and worked in various roles in pet hospitals all over the world, his knowledge and experience of all aspects of pet practice has been the guiding force behind our values and operating protocols. Although he has moved to Australia, he is still aintegral part of our advisory board.

  • Dr. Rahul Jetley

    Rahul Jetley is our other founder. He has graduated from the Wharton Business School, USA, in finance.Dogs always played an important part in his growing up years and he always wanted to do something to give back to the society for them. Having vast experience in finance and mentoring teams for new startups, he took a sabbatical from the post of a vice president for almost 2 years to set up our fist facility in New Delhi. Having set up the facility and operations, he has returned back to his original work however is still an important part of our advisory team.

  • Dr. Rupali Saxena

    Dr. Rupali Saxena received her Bachelors in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry from Punjab Agricultural University in the 2001. She then received her Masters in Clinical Veterinary Medicine from the same institute. She demonstrated strong acedemic excellence by receiving various distinctions and honours throughout her academic career.

    After completing her studies, she joined Dr. Chaggars Dogs & Cats Clinic in 2004 and has dedicatedly worked there for over 8 years, building a reputation as a thorough and focused doctor. A compassionate and diligent worker, she enjoys all aspects of clinical practice though her core strength is internal medicine. She brings a great depth of experience to Alphapet and plays a central role in mentoring some of our younger doctors.

  • Dr. Amit Khajuria

    Dr. Amit Khajuria has a Bachelors in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (with Honours) and a Masters in Veterinary Science (“M.V.Sc.”) (Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, Gold Medalist) from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu. The focus of his M.V.Sc. research was Canine Surgery and Anesthesia. During his studies, he completed a six months internship at, and attended the equine training course organised by the 3 Advance Field Veterinary Hospital (an army hospital). A few feathers in his cap: He was honoured with the prestigious Anil-Arun Chandna memorial award for the Best pet surgeon in field practice of the year at International Congress On Canine Practice 2018. He also bagged the best poster presentation award in 10th Annual Convention of ISACP & NCC held at Goa (Panaji) 2013.

  • Dr. Anangsha Saikia

    Dr. Anangsha Saikia who is working as Veterinary Surgeon & Physician at Alphapet Hospital has completed her post-graduation in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology from College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati. Her love and compassion for animals has led to a possible career path to become a veterinarian and with her professional attitude she is providing patients with the best care possible.

  • Dr. Ankit Rathi

    Dr. Ankit Rathi who is associated with Alphapet Hospital as Veterinary Physician has completed his B.V.Sc. from International Institute of Veterinary Education and Research in the year 2020. Being a young veterinary professional, he is inspiring the upcoming generation how wonderful to treat those who can’t speak and illustrated their problem.

  • Dr Shshank Mehta

    Dr. Shshank has a Bachelors in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (with Honours) from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu. After graduating, he offered his services to Small Animal Veterinary Endeavor (S.A.V.E., a trust for poor pet owners) for 6 months as a volunteer to assist them in their mission to provide veterinary care services to those who cannot afford them. Subsequent to that, he also had the privilege to work with the Equine Unit of The Army Veterinary Corps for a short period. He has since 2019, moved to New Zealand to pursue higher studies in wildlife.
